Goggle-eyed Goby Stew

Goggle-eyed goby, the beef of mudflat that lives only in clean mudflat

Goggle-eyed gobies that are caught in mudflat of Gangjinman Bay are gobies with prominent eyes. Because they jump over the mudflat for sunbath, they don't have fishy smell but have full aroma and nutritions to satisfy the taste buds of gourmets. In particular, on the mudflat of Gangjin live fresh goggle-eyed gobies all around the place. This means fresh ingredients are guaranteed.

Because goggle-eyed gobies cannot live in polluted mudflat, they are used as an index of maritime pollution level. Compared to 60% protein content in beef, goggle-eyed gobies have as high as 84% protein content, and are famous for summer health food even better than Bosintang.
