Symbol Mark
With celadon, we symbolized uncontaminated, clean water of Gangjin and let the sea waves which express harmony of Gangjin-Gun and Gangjin's residents to be exemplified as beautiful lines. It is also combined with celadon, representing future-oriented and clear and pure enterprising sprits of Gangjin. Two surfaces located at the bottom which suggest cultural and historical meanings, express Gangjin's status as number one place of travelers in the Southern provinces.

Character
The basic theme of the character of Gangjin county started from the figure in which celadon is mixed together with fire and water. Just like dynamic and adventurous 'Gang doryung' who symbolizes fire, and calm and soft 'Jin Nangja' who symbolizes water are getting together and becoming as one, we hope the characters will provide Gangjin's youth a sense of friendliness and encourage them to shoulder the future of Gangjin in 21st century.
